History of American Gage
American Gage was founded in 1968, primarily as a dimensional calibration laboratory in Orange, CA. It thrived over the years supporting the Aerospace manufacturing industry and in 1998 was purchased by the current management. The year 2007 was the company’s turning point when American Gage acquired a local calibration laboratory to expand its customer base and capabilities.
Since then our company has grown catering to various industries such as Aerospace, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Defense, Electronic Component Manufacturing and RF Communications. Our 8,000 sq.-ft. state-of-the-art facility located in Placentia, CA, boasts of laboratories environmentally controlled specific to each measurement discipline and is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. We also offer repair services as an added value to make it a one stop shop convenience for our customers.
Our Personnel
We have over 30 years’ experience in metrology and process calibration. Utilizing this experience and expertise, we help customers effectively improve their calibration program. Our highly trained technicians perform thousands of calibrations each month. With over a million calibrations performed, American Gage has been a reliable leader in the metrology industry in Southern California.
