Every tool is cleaned and lubricated as part of calibration, verified against NIST-traceable standards in a temperature-controlled lab, and returned with as-found/as-left data, uncertainty, and the Z540.3 decision rule documented under our A2LA ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation (certificate 4296.01).
Because we stock Mitutoyo repair parts, common failures — worn jaws, sticking rails, dead cells, damaged thimbles — are typically repaired and re-calibrated in the same 7–10 business day cycle. Minor repairs and battery replacement are included with calibration.
